According to the 2023/24 Global Women's Entrepreneurship Report , female-owned businesses in the U.S. rose 39%, nearly double the growth rate of male-owned businesses, with similar surges in Europe. Sustainability also drives innovation, with 36.1% of pitches targeting renewable energy, waste management, and eco-friendly design.
Niche products and social purpose redefine success This year’s applicants are prioritizing underserved, specialized markets—33.9% target niche audiences, including plus-size fashion, sensory-friendly goods, and solutions for mobility-challenged users.
