Despite the setbacks, Allbirds ' revenue in the quarter rose 15% to $78.2 million, with stronger growth in the U.S. and sales at its own brick-and-mortar stores more than doubling. This approach differs from the wholesale model, where shoes are sold to retailers who then sell them to consumers for a profit.
