Store closing events commenced on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at all Nordstrom Canada locations, following an Order from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice obtained by Nordstrom Canada on Monday, March 20, 2023.
The decision to liquidate all 13 stores across the country was confirmed by a spokesperson for the department store chain. Customers can enjoy discounts of up to 20% off the lowest ticketed prices on a wide range of products, including women's, men's, and children's apparel, shoes, beauty, home,
accessories, and more. However, all sales are final during this store closing event, and returns or exchanges will no longer be accepted.
A spokesperson for the JV group highlighted that a liquidation sale for such a storied brand is a rare occurrence and an opportunity for shoppers to purchase sought-after fashion brands at discounted prices.
They encouraged consumers to shop early to take advantage of the best selection of products and noted that they expect sales to be brisk due to the quality of products being offered.
