Seattle-based fashion retail giant Nordstrom, Inc., has recently announced its plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack store in Mooresville, North Carolina. This move is part of the company's ongoing expansion strategy.
It is aimed at strengthening its network of stores while introducing new customers to the unique product offerings of Nordstrom Rack. The new Nordstrom Rack store will be in Mooresville Crossing, a popular shopping center that houses other major retailers like Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, and Ulta Beauty.
Kimco Realty owns and manages The shopping center, a real estate investment trust (REIT) known for owning and operating open-air, grocery-anchored shopping centers across North America. Spanning 28,000 square feet, the new store is ideally situated off of River Hwy & Morrison Plantation Pkwy.
With this addition, Nordstrom will operate three Nordstrom Rack stores and two Nordstrom stores in North Carolina. The store is scheduled to open its doors to the public in the fall of 2024.
