Chanel has recently opened a luxurious boutique in the heart of East Hampton, New York, catering to the elite clientele who frequent the upscale Hamptons area. The ephemeral boutique, unveiled on June 24, 2022, is located at 26 Newtown Lane and will remain open until Labor Day.
The 2,500-square-foot store, designed in a traditional gray-shingled Hamptons style, captures the essence of Parisian summer fantasies while paying homage to the heritage of the Hamptons. Spanning two floors, the boutique offers an
intimate and inviting atmosphere with a relaxed sense of glamour that is synonymous with Chanel 's DNA.
Upon entering the boutique, guests are greeted with a curated selection of handbags, small leather goods, accessories, watches, and fine jewelry creations, as well as modern silhouettes from the Coco Beach 2022 and Métiers d'Arts 2022-23 collections by Virginie Viard.
The ready-to-wear section includes summer-approved styles like swimwear and coverups, perfect for the Hamptons' sun-soaked days. The second floor of the boutique is reserved for private appointments, featuring creamy linen couches adorned with white and gold Chanel tweed throw pillows.
