Johana Hernandez, a talented Haute Couture fashion designer, has come a long way from her humble beginnings in Compton, where she was born and raised. Growing up, she watched her Salvadoran immigrant parents work tirelessly in Los Angeles' garment factories, sewing for renowned brands such as Guess, Calvin Klein, and Gap.
After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Hernandez launched her own brand, Glaudi , which was inspired by her Latino roots. The brand quickly gained success, making
her the first Salvadorian designer to showcase her work at Paris Fashion Week. Today, Hernandez owns a boutique in the heart of Beverly Hills, where she is one of the youngest Latina business owners in the area.
