Poshmark, a leading fashion resale marketplace, has introduced a new feature called Posh Lens that allows shoppers to search for secondhand styles using just a photo. This innovative tool leverages Naver's visual search technology, marking the first collaboration between the two companies since their union in January 2023.
Posh Lens is designed to simplify the shopping experience by allowing users to find fashion items without needing to know or describe the exact name of the product, brand, or style. Users can
simply take or upload a photo from their phone to find a similar item. The image should be clear, centered inside the frame, and taken against a simple background. Once the photo is uploaded, users can browse through the search results to shop available listings.
This feature is currently available for some of the most popular categories on Poshmark , including Women's and Men's apparel, shoes, and bags. It populates results that match or closely match the searched image, bringing the real-world aspects of shopping online.
For shoppers, Posh Lens offers the opportunity to discover new closets and styles at resale's lower price point. For sellers, it makes it easier for their listings to be surfaced with interested buyers, driving traffic to their closets.
Postmark, CEO Statement "The launch of Posh Lens is just the beginning of how we are working with Naver to deliver new innovation to the Poshmark community," said Manish Chandra , founder and CEO of Poshmark…
