Brunello Cucinelli, the Italian luxury fashion brand, has launched its first-ever eyewear collection in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica. The collection follows a 10-year licensing agreement signed between the two companies in November 2022.
Prior to this full-fledged eyewear line, Brunello Cucinelli had dipped its toes into the eyewear market through a capsule collection launched in 2021 in partnership with Oliver Peoples, a brand acquired by Luxottica Group in 2007. The debut eyewear collection under the
EssilorLuxottica license showcases the brand's signature craftsmanship and attention to detail. The designs feature a variety of styles for both men and women, including aviators, geometric frames, and round shapes.
High-quality materials such as lightweight acetate, horn, and fine titanium are used to create these elegant and timeless pieces.
Notable styles in the collection include Disoriano, a pilot-style frame; Artemio, an optical style with a sunclip; Filu', a bold, angular style; and Nino, which is available in sustainably sourced genuine horn.
The collection also features an exclusive colorway of the iconic Oliver Peoples model, Oliver Sun, in Olive Smoke - a hue personally selected by Brunello Cucinelli himself. The eyewear line showcases a range of refined colors, such as peach, pistachio, cognac, and cashmere-beige, adding a touch of sophistication to each piece…
