Aetrex , the New Jersey based global leader in foot scanning technology and data driven footwear, has hit a major milestone with its FitAI technology, surpassing 2 million recommendations for shoppers across more than 500 retail locations worldwide.
Now adopted by over 100 global retailers, including ASICS , PUMA , DSW , and Fit2Run , the technology is redefining how consumers find the right shoe fit both in-store and online. What FitAI Actually Does FitAI uses proprietary 3D foot scanning hardware and AI
software to match a customer's unique foot shape against a database of 3D scanned footwear by brand and style, delivering fit ratings that range from "excellent" to "poor." The process begins with a scan using either an Albert Pro or Zoe Pro device, after which the software instantly displays personalized fit recommendations from the retailer's available inventory.
Once a retailer accumulates 5,000 foot scans to purchase data points, FitAI can also be activated online, allowing returning shoppers to receive personalized recommendations directly on the retailer's website.
Larry Schwartz , CEO of Aetrex , said , "Our goal when we set out to create Aetrex FitAI was to equip sales associates with a tool to guide consumers to the right shoe fit for their unique feet, effectively building purchase confidence and promoting better foot health.
The result is a data-driven complement to the traditional sales associate interaction, offering a more detailed and consultative engagement that elevates the retail experience both in-store and online, enhancing brand loyalty."
