Yorkdale Shopping Centre, a premier shopping destination in Toronto, Ontario, has announced the addition of new luxury brands to its impressive roster of stores. Among the most notable brands set to open are Alexander McQueen and Celine.
The mall, which opened in 1964, spans 2 million square feet and is home to 270 stores, making it one of the largest shopping centers in the world. The shopping center has built a reputation for being Toronto's ultimate shopping destination, boasting the country's largest
collection of designer labels and luxury brands. It is co-owned by Oxford Properties and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) and managed by Oxford Properties Group .
Over the years, Yorkdale has attracted upscale stores such as Holt Renfrew , Tiffany & Co., and Burberry, which recently reopened its store with a new simple design and bright interior accented with gold.
In addition to Alexander McQueen and Celine , other luxury retailers that have recently opened or are set to open at Yorkdale include Marc Jacobs, Emporio Armani, Acne Studios, and TWG Tea. The mall also features a number of luxury concessions with mall-facing entrances, such as Chanel, Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton.
