The iconic fashion house Maison Schiaparelli , founded by avant-garde Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli in 1927, is set to open a permanent store at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.
This marks the first time since its relaunch by Italian entrepreneur Diego Della Valle in 2012 that the Paris couture house has opened a permanent space outside its salon on Place Vendôme. Instagram A post shared by Schiaparelli (@schiaparelli) Schiaparelli's relationship with Bergdorf Goodman dates back to the 1930s, and the label opened a pop-up at the store in 2018 to mark the introduction of its ready-to-wear collection.
The brand has gained significant momentum under creative director Daniel Roseberry, with notable moments such as Lady Gaga performing at the inauguration of U.S. President Joe Biden in a Schiaparelli jacket and skirt, topped with a gilded brooch shaped like a dove.

Designed by Roseberry in collaboration with architect Daniel Romualdez, the space is inspired by the original decor of founder Elsa Schiaparelli's salons in Paris and features galvanized metal racks, echoing the gold hardware that Roseberry has made a signature of the label.
