Amid mounting controversy and a social media firestorm, Sephora is at the center of breaking news speculation regarding its partnership with Huda Beauty after founder Huda Kattan’s explosive accusations linking Israel to several historic global events .
The now-deleted TikTok video sparked immediate backlash from Jewish groups, human rights advocates, and a flurry of activist petitions demanding the global beauty retailer sever all ties with Huda Beauty. Kattan clarified that she personally deleted the
controversial post because her words were “taken out of context” and she did not want the narrative to continue fueling divisiveness. Huda Beauty and Huda Kattan openly call the backlash a “smear campaign” designed to discredit her for supporting Palestinian rights and criticizing Israeli government actions.
