Glossier, a popular beauty brand, has recently revamped its executive team to better position the brand for market opportunities in 2023. The company has made several key changes, including the appointment of Chitra Balireddi as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Balireddi brings with her valuable experience from Chanel and the Boston Consulting Group. In her new role, she will be responsible for managing all of Glossier's distribution channels, including the brand's first wholesale partnership with Sephora
. In addition to Balireddi's appointment, Glossier has also promoted Marie Suter and Kleo Mack to the positions of Chief Creative Director and Chief Marketing Officer, respectively. Suter, who joined Glossier in 2018, has been instrumental in shaping the brand's creative direction.
Mack, on the other hand, has been with the company since 2020 and will continue to lead product, influencer, omnichannel marketing, and communication efforts in her new role as CMO. These changes come at a time when Glossier is expanding its presence in the beauty market.
The brand recently launched its products in 600 Sephora stores, making them more accessible to new customers and providing another channel for existing customers to shop. This move marks Glossier's first major retail partnership to date.
