IKEA Canada is partnering with Swedish colourist Tekla Evelina Severin (known as Teklan ) on a new collection of colourful lighting and sound products launching across Canada in January 2026 .

Bedrooms Business Manager Mathias Karlsson at IKEA Canada said , “At IKEA Canada , we want to empower Canadians to make home technology not just functional but seamlessly integrated into their living spaces, reflecting the unique character and needs of the home.” He also said , “We’re thrilled Canadians will be able to experience this collaboration with Teklan , which offered the ability to infuse colour, form and character to our existing lighting and sound range.” Colour as the starting point The collaboration builds on Teklan’s signature approach to colour, where bold yet carefully balanced palettes interact with geometric shapes to create depth and visual movement.
