This innovative feature enables content creators to monetize their videos by offering premium content to their fans, who can purchase access to these exclusive collections.
Launched in March 2023, TikTok Series allows creators to include up to 80 videos in a collection, with each video having a maximum length of 20 minutes. This is a significant increase from the standard 10-minute limit
for regular TikTok videos. With this new feature, creators can now share more in-depth video guides and tutorials, providing their audience with valuable and entertaining content. Creators have the flexibility to set their own pricing for their Series, ranging from $1 to $190.
Fans can purchase access to these exclusive collections through direct in-video links or via the creator's profile. Initially, only select content creators will have access to the Series feature, but TikTok plans to open applications for more creators in the coming months.
