Two icons of British design have joined forces. Vivienne Westwood and Cole & Son have announced a new wallcovering collaboration that brings the fashion house's celebrated print archives into the home, merging fashion, interior design, and living in a collection that is as bold as the woman who inspired it.
Eight Designs, 31 Colourways The collection comprises eight designs across 31 colourways , designed, hand-painted, and printed entirely within Great Britain . The range spans hand rendered stripes, trompe
l'oeil tartans, graphic leopard prints, and the iconic Vivienne Westwood squiggle, a motif that has appeared on everything from pirate shirts to bags since the brand's early days.
Cole & Son's artists translated each design for the wall using traditional printing techniques including strié and moiré to achieve depth, texture, and movement.
Where Heritage Meets the Home This is not the first time the two British houses have worked together, a previous Vivienne Westwood collection for Cole & Son dates back to 2009 and is now archived at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London .
