Tanishq, a leading jewelry retailer in India, has announced its further expansion into the United States market by opening two new retail stores in Houston and Frisco, Texas. Following the flagship store's inauguration in January this year in Iselin, New Jersey, was only the beginning of their US presence.
With the addition of these new locations, Tanishq aims to better serve the Indian American community in Texas, which boasts the second-largest Indian American population in the country. Texas is home to over
450,000 Indian Americans, with most residing in the state's large metropolitan cities, including Houston and Dallas-Fort-Worth, which is only 30 miles away from the new Frisco storefront.
While the brand has been available online in the US for almost two years, Tanishq hopes to enhance its accessibility to the community in these markets with its exclusive collections, Dharohar and Tales of Mystique, through these new locations.
Tanishq 's CEO, Kuruvilla Markose, explains the origin of the brand's name, stating that it signifies an ornament that adds to the beauty and elegance of women.
